WattMatters ("we," "us") helps New England homeowners evaluate solar and battery-backup options. This policy explains what information we collect through wattmatters.info and how we use it.

Information we collect

When you request a free estimate, we collect the information you provide: name, home address, phone number, email address, state, and your average electric bill or usage. We may also collect basic analytics (pages viewed) to improve the site.

How we use it

We use your information solely to prepare your solar savings estimate and to contact you about it by phone, text, or email. An advisor may call or text you within 24 hours. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

SMS / text messaging

If you provide your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from WattMatters related to your estimate and appointment, including a one-time verification code. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to texts is not a condition of any purchase. See our SMS Terms.

Sharing

We share your information only with service providers that help us operate (e.g., our hosting, messaging, and CRM tools) and with installation partners who fulfill your estimate. We do not sell your data.

Your choices

You can opt out of texts (reply STOP) or emails (use the unsubscribe link) at any time, and you can ask us to delete your information by contacting us.
